Ben nascosta nella foresta di Charnwood, si trova la fattoria di Bawdon Lodge, sede della 45 West Distillers. Una bellissima location circondata dalla campagna:
È qui che il Master Distiller Jamie Baxter ha trovato l'ispirazione per la ricetta dei gin Burleighs. Passeggiando per il bosco di Burleigh, adiacente alla distilleria, Baxter si imbatté nella betulla argentea, l'iris, la bardana, il tarassaco e il sambuco.
Fu così entusiasta della scoperta che le botaniche finirono per ispirare la prima ricetta e sembrò giusto che l'antico bosco del Leicestershire desse anche il nome ai gin.

I gin Burleighs sono distillati nel bellis­simo distillatore di rame soprannominato Messy Bessy: una vera creazione artigianale. La sua capacità è di 450 litri ed è stato progettato da Arnold Holstein a Markdorf, Germania.

Il design, unito ad un'attenta ricerca degli ingredienti e alla grande esperienza del mastro distillatore, contribuiscono a conferire una natura raffinata a
