Gin Tarsier Taipei Old Tom

Once called "Isla Formosa" by Portuguese explorers who sailed there - which literally translates as "Beautiful Island" - the subtropical climate and rolling green hills mean that fruit and flowers thrive here in abundance.
Taiwan is famous for its tea plantations and some of the best oolongs in the world are grown here. The most prized of these is Oriental Beauty Oolong, so named by Queen Elizabeth II after being so impressed by her distinctive taste. The taste profile is fruity, with floral, wild honey and sour notes.
In the construction of Taipei Old Tom Gin, the flavors of oolong tea were balanced with the spicy kumquat, floral hibiscus and aromatic ginseng, taking advantage of the best natural products that Taiwan is famous for.
